Can a rifle turn a novice into a world-class sharpshooter? Yes, based on the shootout scoreboard at a major fundraising event for the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation Saturday.
A sharpshooting showdown pitted a young American woman against the reigning NRA global champion... the novice crushed her opponent at the inaugural American Sniper Shootout Saturday in Mason, Texas.
The victorious novice shooter was Taya Kyle. Founder of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, she is the wife of U.S. Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle, known as "the most lethal sniper in US military history," author of autobiography "American Sniper," and the inspiration for Clint Eastwood's movie "American Sniper."

I agree, very disappointed he did not win the Oscar.
Read the whole story. The technology that she had at her fingertips guaranteed that he never had a chance.
Judging by some of the comments at Fox below the story, I think Jessie or his minions could be posting over there.
Jessie is “off the grid”.
Or so he says...
From article...
“There were 29 targets with a total of 10,140 points available.
“Kyle scored a perfect 10,140. Piatt scored 3,040 points, making 58.4 percent of his shots. The scoring was weighted based on degree of difficulty.
“In the challenges where the shooters took on targets without a direct line of sight while concealed from âenemy fireâ - Kyle made 100 percent of the blind shots while Piatt did not make a single one.
I can’t bring myself to watch American Sniper.
What happened to Chris Kyle is so sad that it ruins it for me.
You'll love the movie, it shows what a hero and marksman he was and how he loved America.
Both Cooper and the gal who played his wife were EXCELLENT in their roles.
Watch it, his demise is only a small part at the end, but the funeral tribute is awesome!
Cool story, but I’ll wager it’s like one of those reporting that Vladi Putin scored five goals in a hockey game.
Thanks for the recommendation.
I have never had that reaction to a film before.
When I was a kid, I watched The Fighting Sullivans” so much I knew the dialogue by heart.
And they all die in the end-all five.
I admire his widow a lot.
Deep down, I feel like Chris was taken out—by certain denizens of Washington, DC—as a payback for his effectiveness against Muslim enemies.
Can’t shake the thought—the way he was murdered, and his friend, doesn’t add up for me.
He was one of biggest heroes of the Iraq War, and he gets taken out on our soil.
Maybe I need more time to reassess my feelings.
He was too good to go the way he did—he deserved much, much better.
You didn’t read it, did you.
Because he had no chance against superior technology.
Seeing that I’m not familiar with it, I’ll just bow out.
Taken out........YUP.....I don’t know how, but I know why it would be wanted by some.
American Sniper was an excellent film. A fitting tribute and I felt the issue of his murder (not showing it, but more his willingness to help Vets) was respectful.
This is a cool system. Saw a story on it earlier this year.
"American Sniper" is a tribute to him!
I thought it was a tribute to the F-bomb. I served in the Navy and never heard anything like that. Disgusting what the hollywood crowd has contributed to the Gomorrah culture.
I read it a few days back buy was remiss in posting it
Makes me like/respect her even more - and crave one of those rifles....
