Well I hope they show ALL of the movie they are ripping up! I saw their THIS ISLAND EARTH MSTK3k version and they cut out the most dramatic parts!

I had to order the DVD of THIS ISLAND EARTH to fill in the gaps.

Nelson is working on Rifftrax - which is fantastic! Mike continues to work with Bill and Kevin - that's really where the chemistry is. He's still got it.

Joel is reviving MST3K with this kickstarter. I think it will fail. Here's why:

• New cast of characters, but keeping the same robots.
• The original "Mads" (mad scientists) were truly bizarre - Forrester, Pearl, TV's Frank. I don't see the new "Mad" being anywhere close to their oddball behavior. She's a video-gamer kid from what I hear.
• Writing will not be the same without Nelson back there
• Joel has ceded some creative authority for production.

  I wish them well, but I won't be donating and likely will not watch. It's one of those things, you can't go back. Keep circulating the tapes.
