It isn’t just the third world, I am afraid. Americans are just as bad about getting lax about finishing the course, and there may even be a few folks out there who self-medicate using veterinary antibiotics but don’t do the research to find out what a full course would be and make sure they take that.

Yes, Americans might get ‘lax’ but there's no financial incentive for us... No pharmacy in the country will allow us to buy ‘half’ an antibiotic prescription (to save money).

My biggest ‘American concern’ is antibiotics fed to animals to put weight on them. That needs to be stopped.
