Indiatlantic, Florida residents woke up this morning to an usual sight: thousands of coffee cans littering their beachfront.
As reported by local news outlet FloridaToday, the bright yellow and red Cafe Bustelo cans began to wash ashore overnight, and continued to appear throughout the morning.
The vacuum-sealed containers attracted the attention of local caffeine fiends, who were spotted collecting the coffee by the bagful.
Authorities believe that the coffee originated on the Puerto Rico-bound shipping vessel Columbia Elizabeth, which lost as many as 25 shipping containers earlier this week. According to the Sun Sentinel, the lost cargo may include a potentially hazardous load of batteries; the Coast Guard is actively investigating the incident.

Bustelo is outstanding and readily available.
For K cups, use one of the fill it yourself reusable cups. About 4-5 oz water. Works great most of the time but the grounds are so small it can clog the machine. Rarely. Buy a can and save Mucho.
Some Cuban coffee lovers prefer Cafe Pilon. Also top shelf.
Making espresso in a K machine will never be as strong as a $3 stove top pot. The water isn’t hot enough (192) and it presses too quickly. But I love it as my regular morning wakeup. With sugar.

I see this brand in the Keurig section of the grocery store. Mucho mucho expenso! I bought two boxes of K-cups of this coffee marked down to 33 cents per cup. Probably didn't sell at the high price and were nearing their sell-by date.

That is my favorite brand of ground coffee.
I mostly grind my own, but when I have to buy ground coffee, this stuff is the best!

I couldn't help myself .... and I don't find Peets* to be worth the extra money to brew. This liitle roaster in Maine had stolen my over-caffeinated heart.Cheers!
