Navy pulls it out. Army had too many turnovers.

Why is it that Navy and Air Force can have winning programs and Army has had only 1 winning season since 1996? All 3 academies share the same general requirements, right? Is Army at some greater disadvantage?

When Roger Staubach was coming out of high school, there were only two colleges interested in him - Purdue and Navy. Asked later in life how things would have been different if he - Staubach - had gone to Purdue, he replied ‘You would have never heard of Bob Griese.’
