While I have been a Star Trek Fan since the 60’s, and I really liked the nextgen, there was one really leftest episode (which surprisingly I only encountered once).

It had to with the crew rebelling against Fleet authority over recovering a “cloaked” fleet prototype that Riker severed.

The crew including Picard were totally against recovering the ship because it violated a treaty about Star Fleet having cloaked ships.

I thought the episode where #1 Riker fell for a "female" on a planet whose society was asexual was a blatant support of homosexuality.
