I consider myself lucky to have grown up around all of this steel. I even got to own a few examples myself - 64 Malibu, 66 Chevelle, 68 Nova. Money was always too tight for the “heavy metal” of a Shelby Mustang or a Hemi Cuda but I had a (ratted out) Torino GT and a 71 Charger.
I always wanted a 67 Mustang fastback but never came across the right deal. Right now I have my hands full with 2 37 Chevy trucks.
As politics and our degenerating culture get more and more oppressive I find myself seeking the sanctuary of my garage more and more.
