The zombie apocalypse, it would seem, is an infinite source of story inspiration. What would individuals become? What would humanity devolve to? What would the world turn into? And yet somehow, The Walking Dead has managed to become the most boring show on television. Granted, I do not watch every single show on TV (because even work-from-home writers need to shower sometimes), but I can say with fair certainty I’d rather watch that show about Alaskan prospectors than AMC’s zombie saga. And when I say that I mean an episode where they prospect almost nothing at all. That’s how boring The Walking Dead has become.
