The McLaren 570S is the most important car built in Woking since Gordon Murrayâs F1. Seriously. And as they discovered that less grip can equal more fun, not only did it turn out to be beautiful, but also bloody fantastic to drive. Itâs a proper supercar for normal humans who want to go very fast without breaking a sweat.
The McLaren name has been synonymous with speed since Bruce McLaren put his racing team on the map in 1963, but the company that makes the 650S, the 675LT and the P1 has only been around since 2011. Four years on, McLaren Automotive managed to sell 1,649 cars and return a profit in 2014, with 30 percent of their turnover invested back into research and development moving forward.

Ooooo, MC want. Pricing is competitive with the Porsche 911 Turbo.

It is very expensive, but not nearly as much as the 650S or 675S which are north of $300K. The P1 is around $1M.

Yes, almost half the price on the entry level Ferrari 458 Italia. Have not seen what the MSRP is on the new 488 GTB.

And you could buy five or six of them for the cost of a Berlinetta, assuming you could even get one.

To be honest, I don’t particularly care for. There are many cooler looking foreign exotics out there, IMO.

Norm, Yes there is lots of snow. Last week it barely got above freezing and the low was -2F. It has been windy so the snow in the yard varies from bare ground to drifts about 3 feet deep.

Thanks for the pointer, just finished it. Looks like fun, just need the price of admission—and tires, servicing, fuel... At least dreaming of such things is free!
