Are you Ketogenic, Paleo or other low carb? I’m trying Ketogenic.
My husband and I both started on South Beach-style low-carb.
My husband has lost 60 lbs, over the last few years, and has kept it off.
He has moved from SB to Protein Power, and finally landed on Paleo.
Anything low-carb is a good and comfortable way to lose weight, as long as you don’t have medical conditions that preclude it (talk to your doctor.)
I didn’t have that much to lose, but have always successfully lost weight on any version of a low-carb diet. I have eggs and sausage/bacon/ham for breakfast, a big chef’s salad for lunch (lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, hard-boiled egg, chopped chicken/ham) and a salad and piece of meat for dinner. For snacks, I have nuts, and lately one of those Atkins snack bars.
When I was younger, I had success with low-fat diets and exercise; but I’ve learned that the low-carb way works better for me.
People are different; everyone has to find their own, correct, weight-loss diet.
