I expect that once the “mainstream” media gets over their disappointment that this attack wasn’t committed by a group of white Tea Party members, they will begin to spin this as a sympathetic Islamic story by highlighting the perp’s poor father, who after all is just a “nice guy” and a Muslim himself and therefore “as much a victim of this ‘crime’ as anyone else.” They will be desperate to turn this on its head and somehow pervert it into a positive story about Islam.
