Is it just me or do others wonder what the Drudge Report is up to? It seems like so many headlines and stories are more Hollywood BS and other unimportant things, than any relevant information that concerned people would care about. Did Drudge turn into Nero just fiddling while Rome (the rest of the world) burns? One of the first sites (also Free Republic) I go to is Drudge, but unfortunately it is not usually not very important.
It is all about revenue.
He became aware of my infamous battles with blogpimps
and realizing that he was totally gay, fled the field.
Drudge links to what gets him hits and what he finds interesting. Thus far he’s been successful. I’d guess he pays attention to what links garner the most attention.
I’m still waiting for what he has on USA funding ISIS.
I haven’t clicked on Drudge in weeks. Not that I’ve been boycotting, or anything, I just find his postings - of topics I’M interested in - are (lately) repeats of what I’ve already read, elsewhere.
This latest bear rape cr@p is beyond the pale, imo. Maybe he’s trying to prepare/warn us about something, in his stealth way. Hmmmmm....what else has been in the news, lately.
I scan his page a couple of times a day and click on what interests me. sometimes it is hard news sometimes Hollywood. I don’t dwell on keeping track of what he posts by percentage.

Drudge did start in Los Angeles and got hooked up with George Putnam who had a radio show at the time. Drudge was on his show quite often. I believe it was George who gave Drudge the hat that he wears.

so it shouldn’t be surprising to see it.

It seems that the Hollywood items I remember seeing are the ones he uses to show the degeneracy of Hollywood. Is there ever in world history an account of a bear raping a human? It is called de-sensitizing. It really takes sick minds to write, act, direct such a thing.
I’ve noticed that lately too though never as bad as today’s ‘DeCaprio gets Raped by a Bear’ headline.
Matt has played an ENORMOUS role in FreeRepublic`s growth.

In my memory, Drudge has never passed up a good celebrity, weird or salacious story. I’ll go there when there is a big story as he collects a number of good sources.
Stopped watching Drudge because he loves to post homosexual, transsexual, pervert-sexual related links.
I owe my Freeper status to Drudge in a roundabout way. I clicked on a link on his site to an article by Pat Buchanan. There was a link at the bottom of the article for comments and it brought me to Free Republic. This was 1998 and I thought I'd died and went to heaven.
It's just you..........I've never gone to Drudge for anything, not even pork rinds.
I go to drudge everyday (multiple times)....it is the site that turned me on to this great site!....I am in tune with the vast majority here and consider myself very conservative as when government and public use of monies is concerned. Matt was interviewed on info wars about 2-3 weeks ago warning of the “fairness” crap the enemy is now contemplating and the implications that may very well occur (fed=enemy.)
