All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy.

“Ain’t she sweet,
See her walkin’ down the street,
Now I ask you very confidentially,
Ain’t she sweet?”
Wow. My dad would sing this song when I was a child. I can’t believe I still remember it. (He wasn’t born ‘til the ‘30’s, though.)
Good song.

I don’t remember if I’ve asked you this before, but are you familiar with the Dutch group called the Beau Hunks who do note for note replays of music from the likes of Leroy Shields, the Hal Roach composer and orchestra leader. I believe they also did the same for Paul Whiteman’s music. Interesting stuff.
I have a CD somewhere. It has Laurel and Hardy and Little Rascal songs. Thought it was on my iTunes, but can’t find it there. Will dig through some CDs later and see if I can find it. Then put it on my iTunes.
Anyway they are worth a listen
Man, I as so glad the bass/electric bass eventually replaced the tuba. Other than that, this rendition is what I could call the standard version. Nothing unusual about it.
