My neighbors have been shooting at the pack that moved in here recently. I haven’t seen the coyotes but hear them at times. My dogs seem to be aware something is in the area.
The packs don’t stay in one location here. When they start
moving upriver; there is no mistaking what they are. I’ve
heard them almost squealing some nights, and it is generally
a bunch of them travelling together. The babies just fairly
scream, the adults just howl. Sometimes they get our
Malamute started howling in answer to them. I guess Dub’s
warning them that this is her place. No doubt; they speak
the same language.
