In Oblivion it was too easy to pave the streets with Daedric and glass armor, since in that game bandits almost exclusively had those at the highest levels. In Skyrim, the streets ended up being a weird fur/iron hybrid.
I always got a kick out of Skyrim in that at low level you would literally kill everyone to get those 2 septim worth fur armors to sell. By lev 10 you were cursing the Holy Prophet ToddHoward (PBUH) for how annoying it was to loot corpses and AVOID taking them.
