I don’t break bread with the enemy
DNC talking points for Thanksgiving political arguements?
Pretty Good!!!
What I do: absolutely no discussion of politics.
Sorta reminds me of the Steven Crowder Halloween candy redustribution video ...lol
Punching him in the face and kicking his a$$ out the front door also works.
My immediate family are full-on, lifetime libs.
I send flowers, cards, and gifts (with few returns, I might add, though the gestures seem to be appreciated).
It keeps the peace and it works.
1. Grab the BIGGEST turkey leg.
2. When a lib starts spouting off, Bonk them on the head with said turkey leg.
3. If they object, raise it up again and announce “objection OVERRULED.”
Just say no to breaking bread with Libs.
I’m watching the Macy’s parade and everyone is happy and joyful. Blacks and whites together. It’s really a throwback to America of yesteryear.
ZOOKER to The Looking Spoon
Just don't invite them.
Send regrets explaining you found someone who needed a free meal more than they did.
Extra credit: send selfie of you and homeless man sitting at their place at the table
I just ask their source of news. I usually get something like,” oh I don’t watch news, or read news papers, etc.
No reason to argue with someone who’s clueless.
Glock?
Mine is Christmas. I even have a leftwing, anti American, union loving brother. Gosh, how many times we went at it..
Every time one of them opens their big mouth, just say, “You’re fired!”
I have found it is best to remain low-key with my disagreements about faith and politics with family members who don’t share my core values. They are a minority in my family firmly stuck in a leftists world of academia and agnosticism, but my home and table are a testament to my faith and values. They return every year, they do not seek conflict over faith or politics (they are very polite), and we have a nice time.
I believe my family/home is the best reflection of what I believe. I also believe the testimony of our lives and those of our family is a positive influence. I would firmly and politely put an end to any nastiness if that were an issue.
My way to shut up the Left is to tell them about my experiences in Hong Kong during the 1967 Communist riots inspired by the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution in next-door China. Can’t refute that!
Do people just go and eat?
When did it become a thing for people to show up at these and start arguments?
