Wasn’t Kasich Chairman of some important Committee for 20 years? Maybe he was “untouchable”.
He was chairman of the House Budget Committee when Newt was speaker. He is largely credited with balancing the federal budget back in the mid/late 90’s. And yes he was a hero back then. I seriously doubt he has anything to do with this case. Not at all his style, he is pretty much super clean.
