I, for one, will NOT be shopping on Thanksgiving afternoon or Black Friday. Never have and never will! I much rather be playing in the dirt, picking my vine ripe tomatoes, green beans and tending my sugar snap peas that are coming along to provide me a great treat come January! :) Winter in Florida does give us some more “cold weather crop” goodness. And sugar snap peas do great during Florida winters! :)
I’ll be digesting on Black Friday. One year, when we had deep financial problems, I took a job in retail. I was amazed at the hordes that came out.
