Weren’t they the first to break the Lewinsky scandal?

I think Drudge pretty much was credited with that.

But back in 1980 they first broke the story of Steve McQueen diagnosed with cancer (he was just 50). I remember because my girlfriend said its only the Enquirer, so it isn't true.

Yeah, it's cool how that worked out. Newsweak was the first to have the story, but spiked it because they wanted to protect their hero scumbag Clinton. Drudge then got wind of it and broke it. All these years later Drudge is the most important figure in media and where is Newsweak?
