‘See what happens’! After Bernie Sanders endorsement, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey gets KO’ed

It’s been a rough week for UFC fighter Ronda Rousey. After endorsing Bernie Sanders early last week, she got KO’ed Saturday night in Australia by Holly Holm.

Too much Bern?

She was probably just trying to redistribute the title.

But here’s the real reason for her loss:

There’s something wrong with women fighting like that for sport. Disturbing. (But I’m glad Rousey lost only because she endorsed BS.)

I gotta admit, I LOL’d when I heard about her defeat.

I don’t honestly believe that her defeat had anything to do with her endorsement of Sanders.

I do believe it had a great deal to do with a severe lack of focus, buying into her own hype, her forgetting that she is a fighter and thinking that she’s going to be a movie star, and facing an opponent with vastly superior skills, strength, speed and experience, and preparing for such an opponent in an improper manner.

It was such a devastating defeat that I believe there is a possibility it could be a career ender, but I’m not sure on that.

One this is for sure. The mystique that Ronda had is now gone. She will no longer be viewed as invulnerable or unbeatable.

She needs to reflect upon and learn from this crushing defeat.
