I could not believe that in between rounds, Rousey’s corner was telling her to keep both hands up! It was like amateur hour.
A world title is no place to be training basics. She should have avoided a striking contest with all her skill, but it looked like her (and her corner’s) intent was to try striking for a while to gain some experience, or prove a point.

I just saw some highlights on the post game show, and HOLY HECK, she absolutely wrecked Rousey.

She has had small parts in a few movies, but has her first leading role signed up - she will play the bouncer in a remake of Road House, playing the role the Patrick Swayze made famous.
She could probably do some announcing/commentating.
At 28, she could well make a comeback, but it is a tempting point to change careers.

Another bad sign for the Democrats. Rousey comes out as being Bonkers for Bernie and then loses her first fight...in dominating fashion.

Fox is driving me crazy with putting the post fight on FN2 I don’t get that channel and I wanna hear the analysis they should move the football game to somewhere els.
She lost because of Hollywood and all the fame went to her damn head. She also fought a stupid fight. She’t not a good boxer and she tried to box this 35 year old fighter who’s had 40 fights in her career. She ignored her judo. Holm is a much more seasoned veteran fighter. Rousey either needs to take training serious or quit. She also needs to quit believing the hype and stay the hell off talk shows and ESPN. She’s a great fighter, but any fighter can lose. I’ll put my money on her winning a rematch. This lose will only make women’s MMA bigger than it already is.
