I can’t imagine putting my kids in a driverless car and sending them off the school.
Considering the way they drive school buses around here, it's probably safer.
In 10 years that will be normal. Maybe less. GM Super Cruise launches next year.
“I canât imagine putting my kids in a driverless car and sending them off the school.”
At one time I couldn’t imagine buying french fries with a credit card - or otherwise living completely cashless - but now it’s the norm.
At one time people couldn’t imagine hurtling down the roadway at literally breakneck speeds - but now it’s the norm. (BTW: a Nissan LEAF tops out around 94 MPH.)
...and so on. Yes, you’ll be putting kids in driverless cars and sending them off to school ... and appreciating how much safer they are in the process, contrasted with the profound risks of idiot human drivers, or [GASP] _walking_ to school.
