Dubai is a seemingly magical place. It’s the global capital of excess, and a vacation destination for the world’s most powerful and wealthy people. It’s like a Middle Eastern Vegas with much taller buildings and a much more complicated political character. Check out these sick pics that could only be taken in Dubai.

Spent quite a few port visits there 20 years ago. Amazing hotels, great restaurants. They import most of their workers and there were a lot of fat rich Emiratees sitting around acting like a-holes.

Not 'poor' the way we define it America. Jan Sobieski intends poor to mean 'slaves' here. Slavery is permitted in Islam, and these poor slaves are imported from India and the Philippines. The human rights violations that happen there ALL the time are unspeakable. It's not a laughing matter.
