It all goes downhill after 30 â at least when it comes to happiness.
âAdults over 30 are less happy than their predecessors,â concludes a study published online Thursday in the journal Social Psychology and Personality Science, which examined happiness data from more than 50,000 adults, gleaned from the General Social Survey, carried out by NORC at the University of Chicago, a nonpartisan, independent research organization, which has collected information about American adults since 1972.
From 2010 to 2014, adults over 30 had an average happiness score of just 2.18, compared with 2.24 a decade ago. Thatâs significant considering happiness scores were measured on a tiny scale from just 1 to 3, with 1 being ânot too happyâ and 3 being âvery happy.â (The data used five-year cohort periods so that single year fluctuations were smoothed out.)

Take heart - 0bama’s not done with them yet!
364 days, 8750 hours, 525045 minutes, 31502727 seconds to go!
You’re supposed to be miserable, once you understand that, you’ll be happy.
More than that. He serves until the new president is sworn in usually.
Although this guy may find a way to stay. He is surely working on it.
Misery is just your attitude.
Man up and get out and enjoy life
Too much technology. Less human interaction.
That’s part of it !
Oh, you’re right! It’s:
437 days, 4 hours, 39 minutes and 42 seconds.
I felt the same way when Carter was in office. It passed. Not sure if we will be that lucky again.
After 7 years of a racist pig, community agitator running the country, people have a right to be miserable. That’s what the Kenyan wants. We’ll be living in grass huts and caves before he’s gone.
The Obama-effect. #CruzForTheCure
Truer words were never spoken!
We weren't pampered, sheltered, or grew up with a sense of entitlement like the millenials and yet the old order we observed from baby boomers and older generations that we were taught to emulate no longer exists. So we're lost. Baby Boomers have already succeeded in their pursuit of happiness under the auspices of the old order before globalization so they don't give a damn. The millenials have figured out how to operate successfully in a PC world with its speech codes and gulag of thought. Or they are pampered by father government.
The beatings will stop when morale improves.
Carter didn’t do HALF the damage to the U.S. as Odunga has, and Carter was a HORRIBLE president. Do the math. Carter didn’t use ALL of his agencies as WEAPONS AGAINST THE PEOPLE and his MILITARY TO UNDERMINE ITSELF like 0dunga has.
Females destroyed America, including the transgender, cross-dressing nanny of and feminist mother who raised 0dunga.
“Americans over 30 are more miserable than theyâve ever been”
IF there was a RAID type of spray more needed than a spray to be rid of Democrats I don’t know what it would be.

Don’t feel lost, we’re not all gone and a lot of us care about how you 30 something’s will carry on after we are really gone. But you need to start waking the young people up. It’s starting to be your time now.
