I really like the Utility MacKeeper which is based in the Ukraine but they do have access to my personal data.

If you have been following the Apple Mac pings on FreeRepublic, you'd know that MacKeeper is worse than anything it purports to cure, replicating duties that OS X already does itself if you merely keep the computer turned on, and turning OFF the built-in anti-malware protections OS X has.

MacKeeper's parent company has just lost a huge Class Action lawsuit about its business practices and misrepresentations of what it does and been ordered to pay its customers millions of dollars in restitution. That case has had enormous response from customers demanding restitution. Many orgainizations consider MacKeeper itself to be malware.

My advice is to remove MacKeeper now and apply for restitution.
