Does anyone know what the current insulin # is that recommended?

I know friends who complain about 190 and higher. Just skip bread and sugar in coffee...except at Red lobster they eat 3 of the four rolls before I get my first one quartered and eaten. !!

“Does anyone know what the current insulin # is that recommended?”

It varies according to sources. Maximum fasting levels may be recommended to be no more than 93 to 100 mg/dl. Maximum post prandial levels may sometimes be recommended to be no more than 120 mg/dl for a non-diabetic person. Some authorities are now warning about blood glucose levels above 93 mg/dl resulting in alarmingly higher percentages of dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, Altzheiner’s Disease, and an assortment of other neurological disorders as a person ages. Conversely, nutritional ketosis seems to allow many individuals to sustain lower than usual minimum blood glucose levels >80 mg/dl as a consequence of being able to use the ketones from fat to fuel the brain and other metabolic functions.
