Any word on what will be placed at the center? The center will be returned to natural native plants with walkways and bicycle paths. . . No gardening should be required.

You are right that Apple outsources most manufacturing (though they do own and operate a factory in Ireland the produces iMacs). Apple also builds iMacs a lot closer than that, in Elk Grove, California, and all Mac Pros are manufactured in Austin, Texas. And DennisW is lying again about Apple's R&D and engineering, which he claims is done in Asia. No, it's not. It's done in California.
