I guess since Hussein 0bama plans to cut the Navy back to pre-WWII levels the Naval Academy has to ensure the Midshipmen have some type of practical training.

I skipped my 20th reunion. I heard my former midshipman company commander and his partner were there though...

Ashamed of the Navy and USNA and would dissuade my children to serve in the military unless the political leadership makes a tectonic change in the right direction.

I think it’s funny. And entertaining, especially for those who support our Naval Academy. Sometimes our midshipmen need to have a little fun, considering their tough academics and their future commitments.

Another question: how tall was the guy in the middle? Was everybody else just short? I had a neighbor once who was turned down for Annapolis (he went to West Point instead) because he was too tall. I think he was about 6’5”. He was deemed too tall to ever be assigned to a submarine.
