Manziel is another Flutie. He does not possess the skill or the physical capabilities to play in the NFL at the QB position. He might be able to have an NFL career becoming a Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Wes Welker type receiver, but he’s no NFL QB.

Two of the biggest problems today in the NFL are a dearth of both quality QBs and HCs.

That’s why NEW has been the best for the last 15 years; they have the best QB & HC combo, possibly of all time.

That’s why that article I pinged you both on is very relevant because all the top QBs of today are 32+ y/o...where are the young guns? Newton, Luck and Carr? I’ll buy that. And then? Maybe Winston and Mariota...maybe.

Throw in again that 2/3 of the HCs suck or are very marginal and there you go.

Damn Saints blew a 21-10 lead to a 1-6 team. I am going to learn one of these days not to get my hopes up, until some semblance of a better than NCAA caliber defense shows up.
