I would come more believing them than the evilution nuts. They like to mock people of faith, but you really have to have some extreme faith to go with the staggering odds the evilutionst are bucking with their theories.
“Last time I looked, the monkey were still flinging feces at each other and not composing grand symphonies.”
Well, Baltimore does have a symphony orchestra. I don’t know if they had a Spring Fling festival this year.
Good barbecue don’t need no stinkin’ sauce.
Although I like it.
Aye, that’s the rub! ; )
acquire that certain something?
My ancestorâs first playground was a beautiful garden ...(You made my day with this answer, Father, they ARE getting it!)
The certain something is that animals cannot have a relationship with God. It diffentiates us from Animals.
Now I have 8 cats and dogs at home that I love. But I know that there is no rainbow bridge, we live on, they do not.
Its part of a maturity to knowing God. Not always easy but always HIS WILL>>>>>
No wonder those two were hired. The production crew saved a bundle in make up.
I’m surprised that National Geographic had time to write an article like this since most of their time seems occupied putting out a magazine totally devoted to the Church of the Warming Globe.
The “swimming ape” theory shouldn’t be dismissed so easily, but they didn’t give a good description of it. Importantly, the “standing upright” theory isn’t part of the swimming ape theory, but happened before it. Swimming ape is mostly to explain why humans are mostly hairless.
To start with walking upright. The theory is that in desert Africa, walking upright presents the least body area to be exposed at Noon, which is the best time to hunt for diurnal (daytime) hunters. So, it keeps the body cooler, and presents less contrast with a shadow that can be seen by prey.
This theory also explained why there are so many blood vessels in the scalp, and tiny holes in the skull through which capillaries can release extra heat, important because the brain only functions in a narrow temperature range.
Okay, that is one of the theories.
The hairless theory is that Earth had a major extinction event, in which most humans were wiped out. The small number of survivors lived on a swampy island off the coast of Africa, where they spent a very long time fishing in shallow water for food. This bred a lot of body hair out of the gene pool over many generations.
One woman took out a book and started reading it. The other woman took out a Bible and started reading it.
The woman reading the book asked of the woman reading the Bible, "Do you really believe all the fairy tales in that book?"
The Bible reading woman remarked, "Absolutely. What do you believe?"
The book reading woman replied, "I am an atheist. I only believe in science and facts such as evolution."
At that moment the cabin attendant approached them and asked the Bible reading woman if she was comfortable and whether she needed anything.
The Bible reading woman said, "No thank you dear. I am quite fine."
Several more times during the flight, the attendant returned and inquired of the Bible reading woman if she needed anything.
The book reading woman remarked, "Do you know that attendant? She seemed to know you."
The Bible reading woman replied, "Yes. I do. She is my granddaughter."
The book reading woman remarked, "I certainly wish my grandchildren and children cared that much about me. How are you so fortunate?"
The Bible reading woman replied, "Perhaps when my children and grandchildren see me, they consider me as one generation closer to the reality of the Creation and Adam and Eve. Perhaps when your children and grandchildren see you, they consider you as one generation closer to a monkey.
