I do try and introduce people to firearms, and I have taken sveral coworkers to the range.

However, w.r.t. the real died-in-the-wool liberals (aka “progressives”), the only positive outcome would be of your intent was to strap them to a target stand.

There was a time once when I introduced friends to firearms.

Now days I don’t discuss firearms or a number of other topics with anyone except a very select few trusted friends. Even then I’m guarded about what we discuss.

Have a "Lib" friend of over 40 years. I wouldn't ever bother to invite him to the range. He stills sees the faces of several VC he personally killed..., hasn't fired a weapon since his enlistment was up! Can't say how I would have reacted to the same events...

Someone on another thread remarked that they got their
materials for molding their own BULLETS from spent metal
from the bullets at firing ranges. (I suppose they wait
until the ranges close for the day before they collect
the metal!)
