TRUE STORY
Fifty five years ago or so, a teenager from Alberta married an oilfield worker from E. Ontario and moved East to the family farm in Ontario. (BTW, it was the smartest thing he ever did!)
One hot summer day, soon after the marriage, she was alone in the farm house, when there was a knock on the door. An elderly gentleman with a sallow complexion, dressed in a black suit, a black tie, wearing black gloves, a black Homburg and topcoat, and driving a black sedan, asked this young lady if Mary so-and-so was there. She was a little startled as that was her Aunt Mary, who lived in Alberta and had never been to Ontario. When she told the man that there was no Mary there, he apologized and drove off, never to be seen again.
Several hours later, she got a call from family in Alberta, that her Aunt Mary had passed away earlier in the day, around the same time the elderly gentleman visited the farm. Over the next few days, she checked with neighbours and her hubby’s relatives in the area, to see if they knew, or knew of this sallow elderly gentleman, dressed in black. No one recognized or remembered him or his car, and no one like that ever appeared again in the area.
This girl, originally from Alberta, is a cousin, who maintains that the elderly visitor may have been the ‘Angel of Death’, looking for her Aunt. I can figure no explanation. While this story is not particularly ‘scary’, it is certainly inexplicable.
I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me, " Daddy check for monsters under my bed. " I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, under the bed, staring back at me quivering and whispering, " Daddy there's somebody on my bed. "

It’s like the Men in Black stories.
Awesome story! Perhaps it could be the Angel of Death but also it could have been a friend or distant relative that also passed away.
