Progress is found in measuring ideas against tried and true wholesome values and principles that have always uplifted individuals, families, and nations.
It is Progressive to get closer and closer to living under our Constitution, something that protects the freedoms of all Americans of all stripes. :)

Ersatz “Progressives” believe in progress of, by, and for government.

The term was high jacked many decades ago. Teddy Roosevelt, for example, was said to have been the first “progressive” republican.
Progressivism seems to be linked to “change”....that is all it means to them. It means doing it differently and rejecting the old ways or the past.
Even though it’s quite clear to any moderately intelligent person that these “progressive” ideas are simply various forms of tyranny and all have been tried and failed many times in human history.
Yet the Marxists have hijack the meaning of the word, much as they have hijacked and corrupted the language as a whole.
