Here we go. Statistical skewing via poor sampling methods. How many cats WANT to be caged or stay indoors?

Pacing, pacing, pacing not unlike the parrots in cages that pull out all their feathers and repeatedly bob.

I have the sweetest cat in the world. He is outside 100% of the time in the summer and I have no idea where he goes. he comes home to eat. When he does he sits in my lap and purrs like crazy. Then he’s out and about.

Winter or storms he stays in (for snow, too) otherwise he’s gone. Snow Leopards are #1.

My two cats are "inside" cats. I don't want them outside picking up some disease, getting mangled by dogs, or run over by cars. They're quite happy inside. Every morning they curl up on my lap while I read the paper and drink my coffee. During the day they usually come to wherever I am and curl up on the floor.

When we go away for several days, even though our neighbor comes in and feeds they, they show plenty of affection when we get home. If that's neurosis, so be it.
