Not a Billy Joel fan myself... Well, de gustibus non est disputandum or some such, but he didn't win the Gershwin Award for nothing. He's the most underrated of the supposedly overrated songwriters of the filthy hippie generation. A regular Hoagy Carmichael or Jerome Kern really, but with an amazing range/set of pipes.
