Apparently someone reminded the Mets that they are supposed to be playing in the World Series. This was pretty close to a "must win" and they did it.

Your reply was inane. Of course, it is
possible for the Mets to win even going to KC down 3-2. But the odds, in my opinion, will be incredibly long, given that this KC team is great, and that they will be playing at home. Having to win one at KC is doable. Having to win them both is a tall order. To reply that "anything is possible" and refer to the Red Sox comeback is to try to dispute the point that was being made, which I don't think you did with any substance.

Hearing the entire stadium sing Billy Joelâs Piano Man....and seeing Joelâs smile...was awesome.Didn't you just love it when the Royals sang "We ruled the night".

I could say before last night I have never seen a man in a chicken suit cry. I cannot say that anymore. The shots of the stunned crowd and the silence of Buck and Reynolds (who have been fawning over Royals opponents all postseason) was priceless. Back to Buck and Reynolds’ fawning, do they think anyone believes they're impartial? It's like watching the game but listening to the local radio announcers.

Back to Buck and Reynoldsâ fawning, do they think anyone believes they're impartial? Buck was a teenager in St. Louis when the Royals beat them in the 85 series. I don't think he has gotten over it.

The Mets are down 3-1, with one game left in NY followed by two in KC. Let’s hope for a Red Sox type miracle.
