The odd weather continues. Hard ice on the vehicles the other morning, frost on the ground everywhere, but not a bit of damage to Mrs. Augie’s flowers or the tomato plants out in the garden.
The only thing I can figure is there was so much moisture in the air it froze on the plants before the air temp got cold enough to do any damage. Maybe somebody smarter than me can speak to that?
Dropped my trailer off at the sawmill this morning. It was the only empty trailer on the lot so it ought to be loaded by next Saturday.
It’s too slimy to work in the pond right now, so I’ll spend a few hours tomorrow digging holes and setting fence posts.
All I know is that I read that sometime they spray water on plants to prevent frost damage.
