Is it possible to undo Windows 10 download?
my husband lost a lot of his apps and reverted back to the old Windows....for that reason, I’m not going to upgrade to it....maybe when its time for a new laptop....
It’s too bad that happened to you. Thanks for alerting us.
I’m keeping Windows 7.
“MS Office, all my antivirus/anti-malware programs...all of the stuff I use in my everyday work life.”
Those things are not disabled.
I have upgraded all of our home and office computers with virtually zero problems. All six work better by several measures—ease of configuration, startup, and menus. No significant driver issues.
I took it back off, on my laptop, the touchpad wouldn’t work correctly.
I have upgraded 6 computers, most of them Windows 7, but a few 8.1’s as well. Not a glitch or a problem. Just my experience.
That sucks... I recently upgrade to OS X 10.10 and it was issue free...
Something to think about.
I gained nothing by going to Win 10, and lost 8 hours of my life making it work across three attempts, including a restore from prior state. Took three weeks before audio and the video driver worked reliably.
My wife’s MAC upgraded flawlessly to the new OS, again ...
You are supposed to check the compatibility of your software first before upgrading. And you should upgrade your apps and programs to become more up to date.
I upgraded to W10 no problems.
click the new start button ,then all apps ,look in there for your apps
Ping.
I’m loving win7 ultimate64bit so I’m holding out as long as I possibly can
There is a way to undo the install and revert back to your original Windows edition.
But, it must be done within a month of the initial install.

I made a Macrium Reflect image of my Win7 OS before going through the Win10 upgrade process, just in chase. I am still going to explore 10 for a while, since I have it on an extra hard drive.
For regular stuff, I still am using Win 7 on another hard drive.
My brief experience with Win 10 — I HATE IT. If it had a classic theme, it might be usable.
Should have mad an image backup first :)
I switched to Windows 10 this weekend. Flawless upgrade. Everything (including my nVidia GTX 960 graphics card that everyone said would fail in Win 10) is working great.
I wish my iOS 9 (then 9.01, and 9.02, and 9.03, and now 9.1 today) for the iPad and iPhone had gone as smoothly.
If your computer is over four years old forget about it. You will be DOOMED! DOOMED I TELL YOU!
If you don’t plan do revert back you can download instead of MS Office
It’s free and works very well
Did the install activate? If not, certain things will not work, maybe including Office. I had problems with activation and lots of things wouldn’t work until that got resolved.
Can you restore your computer to a previous date/time?
