What a grand lady! Saw a interview with her about a year ago on TCM. She was wheelchair bound. She loved John Wayne and said she hated most of the leading men of the day she worked with. RIP Miss O'Hara.

How could you have had such a wonderful life as me if there wasn't a God directing?
OHara was born August 17, 1920 in Ranelagh, Dublin and went on to become a screen legend in Hollywood. The stunning beauty starred in such classic films as The Quiet Man, How Green Was My Valley, Miracle on 34th Street, and The Parent Trap.
God rest her beautiful Irish soul!

I know a nun who is in the same convent as Maureen O’Hara’s sister. She said Maureen O’Hara would tell anyone that her sister was prettier and a better actress.
