LOTR has always been one of my favorites. Since I was very young...a long time ago.
I look at those maps and see the story again.

Pauline Baynes was by far his favorite illustrator for The Lord of the Rings, as he remarked to son Christopher in one of his letters when the two of them were working on the map.
