Don’t know what the problem is with this team. Kershaw and Greinke should have been enough to get them deeper into the post-season.

It's the same thing, year after year with my beloved Dodgers. They keep aiming for the back fence when all they really need is to put it over the 1st Baseman's glove.

Kershaw and Greinke should have been enough

Unless you're facing DeGrom, Syndergaard, and Harvey.

They should have made Utley rush the mound for his cheap shot instead of second base.

Kershaw and Greinke should have been enough to get them deeper into the post-season.

#1 - Daniel "The Irish Hammer" Murphy

#2 - Degrom, Thor and Harvey > Kershaw and Greinke

#3 - Sabermetric Silliness - Yeah, trying to work out walks and hit 3 run homers while downplaying small ball (Defense, Steals, bunts, striking out vs making contact) works great during the regular season against .500 AAAA teams, but when you face an elite pitching staff in the post season it makes you easy prey (See the A's since 2002).

#4 - Terry Collins figured out #3 and adjusted his teams strategy, Mattingly did not.

#5 - Daniel "The Irish Hammer" Murphy

#6 - Chase POS Utley, his dirty slide enraged the Mets even more

Kershaw struggles in the post season. And the Dodgers were basically relying on just Kershaw and Greinke, there was no reliable pitcher following them.

The teams that are succeeding have good bullpens. I can’t think of a prominent name from the Dodger bullpen, but then I follow the Angels so I’m not as familiar with what’s going on up the freeway.

I bet Scioscia would like to manage his old team.

Some players rise and others not so much in the post season. Maybe it is the streaky nature of baseball and short post season rounds. Also the added pressure and long season just behind those who make it to the post season can be factors.

I'll tell you what's wrong with the Dodgers. They need a FIREY manager who runs out onto the field IN DEFENSE OF HIS TEAM AGAINST BAD CALLS MADE BY THE UMPIRES. Mattingly is a chair sitter who shows NO fire whatsoever.

The manager shouldn't just sit there and watch as his third base is left wide open for Mets' Murphy to STEAL THIRD!!!

The Dodgers cut many of their veterans because they spent too much on their pitchers and LOST THE PLAYOFFS ANYWAY. Get rid of Kershaw and Greinke and put MORE into frontline HITTERS INSTEAD. GO OFFENSE, NOT DEFENSE!! You can't put every game on the backs of the pitchers!!!

BRING BACK A PROACTIVE MANAGER LIKE LASORDA!!!

Getting rid of Mattingly was a good move. BRING FIRE BACK TO THE TEAM AND FIND ANOTHER LASORDA!!!!
