I think we should just start building universities that offer nothing other than remedial classes in everything.

How the free world will rejoice when the classy, refined FLOTUS Melania Trump graces the globe!

She will surely promote international friendship and cooperation not seen since Nancy Reagan.

The graduation rate in Rochester NY, a Dem stronghold, was about 40%.

We already have plenty of those.

She knows they have to do something to keep the young sheeple occupied so they don’t realize there are no jobs available for them while they are being indoctrinated to depend on the village idiots for survival.

Oh sure. Michelle the Beard worked long and hard on this, no doubt.

When I hear one of the Grand Idiots claim that everyone should go to college, two things come to mind.

My cosmically stupid son-in-law, and Judge Smailes saying that, "The World needs ditch diggers, too."

When we start rebuilding, we can demand that Unions restart apprenticeship programs out of sophomores in high school. Or we will start asking where all that money came from, and went...

Since her healthy eating and obesity program has gone so well, I guess it’s time to move on to her next effort to make all our lives better.

We already have Facebook, and I’m sure those kids have older relatives that are around 25-35.

It’s to get them saddled with even more debt.

”… filling out federal financial aid forms and applying to college, ..."

FLOTUS ignores the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to tax and spend for INTRAstate schooling purposes. The corrupt, post-17th Amendment Senate wrongly passed unconstitutional House appropriations bills that established vote-winning funding for schools.

The ill-conceived 17th Amendment needs to disappear, and corrupt senators who hurt the states by passing unconstitutional House appropriations bills which steal state revenues along with it.

What did she extort from them to garner their support?

Her lunches aren't going to do it. How long before, “if your students get federal $ you have to follow these meal guidelines” kicks in?

I've spent time in/at a lot of universities and I can't agree. The state universities I'm familiar with have been quite rigorous. Some of the private ones are desperate to bring in tuition money and have loose admissions requirements. As a result they must have a strong remedial program. The fancy private schools aren't always as rigorous.
