It'll depend on how long their hired security hangs around and does the job they were paid (no past tense) to do.

That'll depend on how quickly the hired security figures out that they, not their protectees, have the guns ... and just how much value they're sitting on.

I think that'll happen pretty quickly.

And, BTW, spam keeps forever. And has more calories per cubic inch that anything I can think of...and it has some protein too.

On the TV show Fear the Walking Dead it looks like they are about to get on some rich guy’s yacht. I told my family “Sounds like a great idea. Until they come across pirates that can out-moter and out-gun them.” (I think the dad might have held on to an over-under shotgun!)

I think I’d rather take my chances in the woods in a SHTF situation.
