America is due for a revolution

Here’s the good news: The chaos and upheaval we see all around us have historical precedents and yet America survived. The bad news: Everything likely will get worse before it gets better again. That’s my chief takeaway from “Shattered Consensus,” a meticulously argued analysis of the growing disorder. Author James Piereson persuasively makes the case there is an inevitable “revolution” coming because our politics, culture, education, economics and even philanthropy are so polarized that the country can no longer resolve its differences. To my knowledge, no current book makes more sense about the great unraveling we see in each day’s headlines. Piereson captures and explains the alienation arising from the sense that something important in American life is ending, but that nothing better has emerged to replace it.

You hit the nail on the head, put into words exactly how I feel. It’s been building up for years, but accelerated lately. I find liberals disgusting, repulsive, willfully ignorant beyond all reason and belief. I no longer potty them their stupidity, I hate them for their gullibility.

"I seriously doubt that theres a lot of thinking on ones feet going on in the bleachers behind the cheerleaders over there at Rump High School!!"

...or behind the cheerleaders under the bleachers,...

...politicians leading their flock of soiled doves from behind, of course.

“We’ve backed off in good faith to try and give you a chance to straighten this problem out. But I am going to beg with you for a minute. I’m going to plead with you, do not cross us. Because if you do, the survivors will write about what we do here for 10,000 years.”

“Treachery has existed as long as there’s been warfare, and there’s always been a few people that you couldn’t trust.”

“I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you f* with me, I’ll kill you all.”

Don’t forget to wrap any electronics in tinfoil for protection just in case, and I do not mean that sarcastically.
Being wrapped in aluminum foil will help protect against the EMPs -and you can be sure there will be more than one.

How, Piereson wonders, was it possible that Fidel Castro and Che Guevara became heroes to the American left when it was a committed communist who killed the left’s beloved Kennedy?

The hard left was already disenchanted with Kennedy; he was too far right for their tastes.

THE SECOND COMING
 William Butler Yeats

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: a waste of desert sand;
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Wind shadows of the indignant desert birds.

The darkness drops again but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

Regards,
GtG

PS "Something wicked this way comes."
By any other name becomes "The Second Coming!"
