So his poll numbers will only go up a couple of points tomorrow.
Trump is right. When a terrorist attack kills 3000 Americans on your watch, you have to take some of the blame. Bush dropped the ball. There were all kinds of warnings, but everyone just ignored them.
Bush may have limited terrorist attacks here, but there were also attacks in Britain and Spain after 9/11.
Perhaps the terrorists figured that another 9/11 would be counter-productive anyway, so they didn’t even try.
To bring up as sensitive an issue as 9/11 now, after it’s been examined and reexamined countless times, in a longshot bid to try to gain some extra political advantage against Jeb that he doesn’t even need at this point, is extremely clumsy, thoughtless and self-destructive.
The last person we ever heard blaming G.W. for 9/11 was Michael Moore. Is that the specter Trump wants to evoke in his campaign?
Oh, good grief. Yet another liberal talking point that is now adopted as "truth" because The Donald parroted it. I remember us fighting this out endlessly against the left back during the 2004 campaign, during the 9/11 commission Democrat members' theatrics (Jamie "feckless" Gorelick and company), and now, many are adopting this same rhetoric we put to bed long ago. How many more ultra liberal positions will be adopted by Trump's supposedly 'conservative' supporters before it is all over, which five seconds before he said them, they would have vehemently denounced?
