Bush may have limited terrorist attacks here, but there were also attacks in Britain and Spain after 9/11.
Perhaps the terrorists figured that another 9/11 would be counter-productive anyway, so they didn’t even try.
Let us not forget that it was Bush that refused to allow TSA to do any profiling, so as a result we have little old ladies and children who are stripped searched while Muslim men chanting Death to America are let through the line without so much as a pat down.
Actually they accomplished a lot more than they ever dreamed. Before 911 Muslims were not given any special treatment anywhere in the world. After 911 the US Government began a quest to eliminate "Islamophobia" and to ensure that Muslims were given special treatment that has never been given to any religion in American History. It is as if Islam has become the official religion of the United States.
This all happened under GWB. It has really gotten out of hand since he left, but his quest for compassionate conservatism has left us all vulnerable to an Islamic invasion.
