For you Dr. Who fans, Matt Smith is in the movie along with his WAG Lily James, lucky guy. :0 The Zombie mash up steals the Darcy jumps into the pond scene from the mini-series that catapulted Colin Firth to stardom. P.S.: No such scene was in the original novel. :0

I think I’ll stick to Jane Austen. One of my favorite authors.

What about “Titanic and Zombies”?
How about “Predator and Zombies”?
Then, “Terminator and Zombies”?

IMHO, the only close adaptation to the genuine Pride and Prejudice was the BBC series made in the 1980’s.

No thanks-I’ll stick to the version with no zombies-both the BBC mini-series and the later Brit movie with Keira Knightly and Matthew MacFadyne as Elizabeth and Darcy are favorites I watch whenever they are shown.

One of these days I really gotta read that book. It’s on my shelf. Just haven’t gotten to it.

I’d pay to see the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter movie.
The book was actually quite fun and amusing.

Looks amusing. My 17-year-old who’s into Dr. Who and The Walking Dead will want to see it.

I think I’ll skip the Zombie adaptation.
If anyone’s looking for a fun watch, this British mini series called Lost in Austen is an original look at Pride and Prejudice from a different angle. You have to know the book/story, in order to get the most enjoyment out of this mini-series.

Sacrilege - the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth is some of the best TV viewing ever - what’s next, Dr. Frankenstein Comes to Downton Abbey?.....
