TINNITUS RING LIST!.........................
TWO RINGY DINGIES!..................
I’ve listened to loud rock music all my life. Got Tinnitus. I’m perfectly fine with it, as I can’t hear it anyway over the loud rock music.
huh?
Me, too, but I’d really like to turn it off............................
Thanks for the ping!
I don’t have pain, but I hear it ALL DAY LONG!! I’ve gotten somewhat use to it, but sometimes at work (where there are loud machines, but I don’t need ear plugs), I can’t understand people because I just hear that ringing...
Self ping
I would be delighted if a cure could be found. Tinnitus doesn’t interrupt sleep or really bother me exactly, but it really exacerbates my already significant hearing loss. And no, hearing aids don’t help.
Somebody answer the damn phone!!
I should try that...Listen to loud rock music 24 hours a day...
I have tinnitus. I got it because when rockets detonate they are quite loud and having two in quick succession is even worse.
I do not suffer from anxiety or sleep problems. It doesn’t really interfere with my daily life since I’ve had it for so long. I guess I’ve grown accustomed to it. I’ve also grown accustomed to the constant pain in my ankle, knee and back. Not totally ok with the shoulder pain though.
[[People who have it say it can be excruciating.]]
It’s not painful- it’s just VERY annoying- the sound is hard to describe, I would say it’s like hitting a ball pean hammer on a bell mixed with a SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH sound- constant, no let up- 24/7
FWIW... Someone recently told me heavy use of aspirin can cause tinnitus. Could be as mine started around time I had to take lots of aspirin.
Interesting. Dr. Savage has said on air that magnesium helps in the treatment as well. Stating he has taken that route and it seems to help. However, DH now takes the magnesium and has not seen nor heard any improvement.
Yes, that is true. I, too, used a lot of aspirin at one time........................
Airplane engines & guns, motorcycles & machinery pre-ear protection days, so yes, tinnitus is there all the time.
But you know what? I rarely notice it unless someone says something about it. I’ve learned to just ignore it. Not because it isn’t enough volume either - it is - I just filter it out most of the time.....
Mine sounds like crickets constantly on a summer night. Even in winter..........................
I just filter it out most of the time............me, too.................
A doctor once told me that the cause could be genetic. My Dad had it, but he attributed it to loud noises at the rail yard where he worked for almost 40 years. So who knows?
