Oh yea, you may have too. He's the guy that cohosts the fundraising shows. Not a great fit for the BB IMO. Nice guy but kinda squirrely and doesn't seem to know a lot about OTR.
Frankly, if this was more in line with my career I'd fight to get the job. I have 3 years of on air experience.
Well, they said they haven't found a permanent replacement yet. Audition. Now, I'd been around the business enough to know it would be a Hail Mary pass, but you of all people would know how to run the show better than anybody else they'd try to plug into it. I'm afraid they'll find a new host who just won't have that familiar 'warmth', that love of nostalgia and of the era, and the intimate depth of knowledge that Ed had. Nothing is a bigger turn-off to me than listening to scripted, corporate monologue.
