Rooney Mara does absolutely nothing for me.
Speaking of the Dragon Tattoo. I saw all 3 Swedish movies, then read the books, then watched the re-release of the Swedish movies with the previously left out footage. Enjoyed all.
But I just haven't been able to bring myself to watch the Hollywood version.
It was actually pretty good. I saw the Swedish movies too, and read the books, enjoying both. Noomi Rapace was great.
Stick with the subtitled, three part mini-series!
The Hollywood version lacks essential back story. Lacks the intrigue and suspense as to what secrets are being kept. Focuses too much on Daniel Craig in a pleasant, klutzy, very non James Bond role.
